GARY HULLETTE has been a full time musician since 1962. His primary work has been in the entertainment field, notably, Las Vegas, where he as a member of the Local 369 was on call for many of the top shows in Vegas. He has recorded in studio work in Nashville, Atlanta, and Miami, as well as in his home town of New Orleans. It is not uncommon to hear some of Gary’s recordings and original soundtracks being featured in Motion Pictures such

 

as “The Pelican Brief” and “Forgotten on the Bayou” as well as his hot guitar licks played in local television commercials such as “Copeland’s.”

 

 

Gary has performed with Mitzi Gaynor, Steve Allen, Rita Moreno, Debby Boone, Ronnie Kole, George Liberace, Harry Connick, Sr., Harry Connick, Jr., Jazz great Al Belletto and Kevin Eubanks, former leader of the Tonight Show Band. He was featured Jazz soloist, with the Atlanta Symphony Summer Pops under the direction of Albert Coleman. Gary has traveled to Brazil and Europe, enriching his love of Jazz and Brazilian music.

 

 

His CD, “Dreams Do Come True,” which was released on Louisiana Red Hot Records, has received rave reviews around the country, and is getting airplay on Sirius Satellite radio.

 

 

Gary has been actively teaching guitar out of his private studio to

 

students in the New Orleans area for many years. He has also taught at the University of Mississippi at Columbus under the direction of Dr. Rick Montalto. For several years, Gary has taught at the Louis Armstrong Summer Jazz Camp at Loyola University under the direction of Kidd Jordan, where he has worked alongside some of the best musicians in the country. He has performed with Germaine Bazzle, one of the nations’ greatest jazz vocalists.

 

 

Gary currently works with local legend Ronnie Kole as his guitarist.
